It’s Great to be Sensually Healthy

Updated: Jul 15, 2023

Can we talk about self care? We need a day during the week to recharge our batteries. We need food that recharges our batteries. There is something sensual and attractive about a person who practices self care.

Many people are burnt out and burdened by things going on in their lives and life runs them instead of they run their life. Maybe you had a setback. Divorce, death of a loved one, sickness, depression, work stress, there can be a lot of situations that cause us to stick our head in the sand and stop taking care of ourselves. But I want to remind you that it’s okay, even beautiful, to be a sensual person who is fully alive in your femininity or masculinity.

Just for the record, I’m talking to myself too. I’ve had setbacks and cancer is something I’ve survived. But frankly, I want to thrive and be the most satisfied person with who I am as a woman. That requires self care. It’s a part of my daily routine now. I wake up early and write, then go to the gym before or after work. This is not to attract a partner, but so that I can respect myself, feel confident, and know that I’m healthy.

Please join me! Here’s one recipe: Read a good book in a sensual bath. Put good things in your body. And last, but most importantly let’s remember how to laugh!

Yay! I love this and it’s so very true…I have put myself last so many times over my life. I tend to feel guilty for putting myself first. But as I get wiser I know if I’m not taking good care of myself it hinders me in what I can accomplish and how I can show up for myself and others.

Thank you for the invite my friend!!
